Our second dive of the day was a shark-feed at Pizion Reef, just outside the southern edge of the Atoll. The basic idea is that all the divers get into position to watch, then the crew sends a piece of tuna down on a cable, and the sharks go wild trying to see who gets the food. Occasionally, a small shark will win and find out that the tuna is too large, and they will tire themselves out trying to get it free. We saw that happen the second time they sent a tuna down.
I am not a big fan of false spectacles like this, and would rather leave the sharks alone, but I must admit that it was a good opportunity to get some photos.
